Tweaking...

Do you ever look at a piece and think you could make it better. I never was totally satisfied with the scissors on the Tim Holtz piece. On Friday, I stopped by a junk store that I frequent and low and behold the perfect pair of scissors with just the right amount of rust was among my finds. How could I go wrong for $1? So, I've cut through the E6000 with a really sharp blade and made a change that feels right.

Dianne, did you use small pieces of canvas for the overall artwork? It's lovely. I love the sewing theme you used. Colors work very well! Huggs, Ronnie

Hey Ronnie,
Yes, I used 4" square canvases. I'm in the process of 'framing' this one. I wanted a shadowbox but the 12" ones are not right and I couldn't another size shadowbox without having it custom made $$ching, ching. I found a single frame (Hobby Lobby clearance...was $88.80 and got it for $1.50...is that crazy or what?) and I'm going to back it with black art board. It will not have glass so I guess I'll be feather dusting often. Glad you like it. It is totally patterned after Tim Holtz' piece so we must give credit where credit is due!
