Serenity House * Tag

Serenity House began as a paper mache piece. It is painted in several shades of blue acrylic paint. The front features a transparency from Rock Candy Studios as well as letters cut from an Artistic Outpost stamped image.

The roof is covered in sticky back metal tape that was run through the mosaic cuttlebug folder and painted and sanded lightly. Love the metal tape which I also punched the small hearts from. The metal tape is also from Rock Candy as well as the black trim along the bottom of the house.

The back view features more of the same. Other products used from my stash include the compass and beads for the roof.

The tag was pre-dyed and just beautiful without doing a thing to it but it was the perfect canvas for the larger version of the litte girl transparency used on the Serenity House. I used a CB folder on each end of the tag before sewing on the transparency, and adding the quote. I'm not sure the quote is going to show up well here; it is by Helen Keller: "Keep your eyes to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadows". After stitching around the tag and using rubons to accent the diamond impressions, a button and some ribbon was added to complete the tag. All products are available from Rock Candy.
Don't ya love Saturdays?

This house is just amazing Dianne! I love how you've combined all the elements - the punched hearts are a great idea!
