Artsy Girl Challenge #70

I've recently signed up for the Technique Junkie Newsletter and have to say I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying it. I used the Mono Masking technique from this month's TJ newsletter to make an atc for this week's Artsy Girl Challenge. Supplies used: Adirondack inks in terra cotta, rust and butterscotch; stamps by Magenta, Stampers Anonymous and an unknown. I can't wait to try some more of the techniques!

Hi Dianne - thank you for your kind comments on my blog - love this atc you've created - I too subscrbe to technique Junkie!!

You asked about my salt technique - if you pop over to my other blog I have explained it using colour wash but watered down acrylic does the same job!!!

I've enjoyed looking through your blog and have made myself a follower.

I also have a challenge blog

You may like to look there too

This is beautiful. You have really rich color, and I love that focal image.

You probably don't know this if you are new to Technique Junkies, but TJ has a perpetual ATC swap. you make between 5- 10 ATCs all using the same technique (any technique that is in the entire TJ library), mail them to:
Juliet Arrighi
4589 Rincon Place
Montclair VA 22025

and you will get back an equal number of ATCs back, all different techniques from different artists. There are no deadlines - play whenever you like. It is a great way to see samples of the different techniques and how different people like to use them.
