Sunday Postcard Art - Fish

For this week's theme of "Fish" at Sunday Postcard Art, I altered a 4X6 card using gesso to cover most of the original print.  I chalked the background and used a stencil to add clouds.  The fish and woman stamps are from Artistic Outpost and the trees are from Heartfelt Impressions.  A bit of Pitt ink was used to soften the edges of the grass and a few dots of red acrylic give the impression of flowers.

Bet she put all the men to shame with her fishing prowess! I like the scenario you've created.

Dianne, this is great! I always admire this style of stamping, but don't have the patience to do it myself. I also love the saying you used!

Cindy :)

Cindy...thank you. The saying is actually part of the stamp with the woman and grasses.
