Loving Zentangles

Tomorrow I'll meet a group of art friends for our monthly meeting.  We each take turns presenting a project and tomorrow we'll be zentangling with Alice.  After seeing some of Alice's work, we've all become pretty excited about diving in.  Of course, I couldn't wait until tomorrow and started playing around a bit on my own.

The pages are 100 lb.Bristol vellum.  The work area is a 3.5" square.

I can't remember the recommended pen but I've been using Pitt pens because that's what I have.  They seem to work fine.

Learning to let go....mistakes and all.

I decided to put all the doodles into a book so they're easy to keep up with and it also makes them very portable.  The book, along with a few pens, and you're ready to go.  It's a great way to enjoy a little creative time when you find yourself waiting...

I can remember doing something similar to this in grammar school when I was suppose to be doing my spelling words. I was always doodling. Now I'm afraid to even start one, I can't deal with even one more obsession!

How gorgeous! Is there nothing you cannot do? {NO!} Thanks for telling the paper you used. This seems to be important from what I've read with most zentanglers. I've not yet taken the zentangle plunge, but am socking away the info and inspiration for when and if I do. xoxo
