I don't even know where to begin! I was thrilled when My Memories invited me to take a look at their digital scrapbooking software and for several days I've been getting acquainted with it during bits of free time. I am super excited about what I've discovered.
I've been doing digital design for several years and this is the program that I was looking for and didn't even know it.
Besides digital scrapbooks, the package is perfect for making cards and calendars plus more. For the simple page of my art group, I used the 'create your own' feature to build my page layer by layer and it was super easy!
The selection of backgrounds and embellishments that come with My Memories Suite is complimented with many freebies that are available for the taking. Multiple designer templates also come with this digital scrapbooking package plus there's a huge selection that can be purchased in the My Memories store.
This is another layout I created and printed out at home. It was made using one of the designer templates that came with the My Memories package. All the elements are ready to go; all I had to do was add the photo and text. Can it get any easier?
This is my Christmas page after I enhanced it a bit with machine stitching, a glittered snowflake and a touch of glitter directly onto the page. The printed page is a great jumping off point for making a hybrid album.
Besides printing at home, albums may be printed at a copy shop, emailed or posted to the internet. You may choose to add your favorite music to an online album. There's really too many possibilities for me to mention here so I invite you to read more at the My Memories website.
Here's another idea: I've used My Memories to catalog some of my mixed media work. This would be a great way to keep an ongoing record of projects. An online presentation could also be created to show others your work. These are two very quick pages I created featuring some of my painted papers.
These are just two of many layout possibilities. There's plenty of room for text to record supplies and techniques plus it's just a great presentation tool.
I have to share one final feature. My Memories allows the user to import custom background paper. For this page, I imported paper that I created for making an artsy envelope.
Pretty cool? There's so much more.
Now for the best part! My Memories is letting me give away a copy of their wonderful software. Here's what you need to do:
1. Go to the My Memories website. Check out the free kits.
2. Come back to my blog and leave a comment including which free kit is your favorite.
3. My Memories software will be given away on Monday, September 19 by random drawing. I'll be contacting the winner by email so make sure I can contact you:)
I'd also like to share a code that provides a $10 discount off the purchase of the My Memories Suite Scrapbook software and a $10 coupon for the MyMemories.com store. The code is: STMMMS57636 .
Good luck all! I'm off to create:)
